Debt Advisor (Customer Service)
£20,055 per annum + excellent benefits.

Do you have 12 months + Customer Service experience?
This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the country's leading financial charities, providing an in-depth advisory service to customers in financial difficulty.
Main duties will include:
Provide a telephone or web based service for clients accessing the charity for the first time, or who have already had an advice session.
Effectively validate, gather and analyse information provided by a client in order to help them deal with their priorities and to provide them with a solution to allow them to deal with their situation for themselves on an ongoing basis including where the client's circumstances have changed following their original advice session.
Through effective listening and negotiation, develop realistic budgets which fully reflect the client's family circumstances and ability to pay.
Present all solutions by describing the advantages and disadvantages according to the client's personal situation and to make a recommendation based on this information.
Maintain accurate and meaningful client records (budget sheet, permanent notes, internal database etc) and to provide this information confidentially and in accordance with the Data Protection Act
Participate in activities and workshops to improve the business processes and debt advice practices
Applicants must have the ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion, empathy and understanding as well as demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines, key performance indicators and business demands.
Hours - On a rota basis between Monday to Friday 10am - 8pm, Saturday 11am - 4pm.
35 hours per week.
