Technical Support Assistant
Location: Swansea (On Site)
Pay Rate: £15.59 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Assignment: Temporary until September 2026
Start Date: ASAP
Are you someone who enjoys working in a busy environment where accuracy and organisation are key? We are recruiting for a Technical Support Assistant to join a well established public sector organisation in Swansea.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration or operational experience who enjoys working at pace while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
You'll play an important role in supporting laboratory operations by processing samples, maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is entered correctly onto internal systems.

What you'll be doing
- Receiving and processing incoming samples
- Entering sample information accurately onto internal systems using Excel and other databases
- Maintaining accurate records and updating information as required
- Supporting the movement and organisation of samples throughout the laboratory
- Preparing items for dispatch where required
- Following established procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Working closely with colleagues to meet daily deadlines and service targets
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Previous experience in an administration, operations or data entry role
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using computer systems
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
