Press OperatorBased in AldridgeTemporary with a view to permanent£10.50 per hourWorking hours are:39 hour working weekMonday - Friday 7.15am - 4pmFridays - 7.15am - 1.15pm.Excellent overtime rates available,Press OperatorWe currently have an excellent opportunity for a Press Operator to join a well-known established engineering company in the Aldridge area who manufacture products for the oil and gas industry.Duties of a Press OperatorThe role will involve working on conventional presses.The power presses range between 250 - 1250 tonne.Pressing materials to form pipes, valves and fittingsWorking with a variety of materials including stainless steel, nickel and aluminium.Working to health and safety policiesMust be able to demonstrate attention to detailThe ideal candidate must be able to read engineering drawings and must have a working knowledge with an eye for detail being extremely important as quality of product being a priority. Guidance is given along with training on certain areas where required however the above is essential.
