Van Drivers needed for an ongoing contract in Beaumont Leys.
Working for a major food producer, drivers will deliver pre-packaged sandwiches and other products to petrol stations and service stations across the country.
The work is clean and simple and the product is not heavy.
This is a major client of Pertemps who use in advance of 17 drivers a day through us, so the work is ongoing and not subject to seasonal slumps.
Drivers must have held their licence for at least 3 years due to the insurance policy.
Drivers must be able to communicate effectively and be able to follow instructions.
Drivers should be polite and presentable with a good level of personal hygiene as they are delivering food product directly to stores.
Drivers must be willing to work on Saturdays as this will be required - drivers will get an average of 5 shifts a week but they must be flexible on the days they can do.
Drivers will be provided with Uniform polo shirts and hi-vis vests.
Drivers will be aware of their rota for the next four weeks (subject to minor change)
Drivers will receive £8.46 an hour and be paid for breaks.
The client has committed to staying 25p above national living wage so the wage will increase in line with that yearly.
Premiums will be paid on shifts starting before 4am or on Sundays.
Shifts will be allocated to best suit the drivers preference.
