Job Details

Unsurprisingly, Christmas is the busiest time of year for letters and parcels flowing through our warehouse, we always need a few thousand extra hands!

£11.40 p/h (days) to £13.70 p/h (nights).

Most sites offer a range of shifts, so finding one that suits you should be simple. Typical shift patterns include:

Earlies: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, between 06:00 and 14:00
Lates: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, between 14:00 and 22:00
Nights: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, between 22:00 and 06.00

Just like Mr & Mrs Claus, you'll play a key role in bringing Christmas to people across the UK

Cross docking involves the unloading of wheeled containers from incoming vehicles, moving them to the correct despatch lane and then loading them to outgoing transport. This work is active and physically rewarding.
It involves a significant amount of walking each day, equivalent to 5 miles or more.

Parcel processing requires scanning and identification of parcel destination by either code number or postcode and placing mail into the correct wheeled container for despatch.
Once containers are full, they will be pushed to the correct despatch area and loaded onto vehicles.
