A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Slice & Wrap Team Leader to join our clients based in Corby, this is a full time, temp to perm role, on the 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights.
The role of the slice & wrap Team leader is to ensure that products are correctly sliced and wrapped into the correct packaging and are correctly coded in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

The role of the slice & wrap Team leader is to ensure that products are correctly sliced and wrapped into the correct packaging and are correctly coded in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- To be a pro-active member of the management team, working as part of that team maintaining company standards and influencing policy in the area of responsibility.
- Ensure product quality through definition of product and process specifications.
- Ensure product safety, particularly with regard to HACCP systems and controls.
- Communicate to all members of the shift on a regular basis information required for them to carry out their tasks and job duties. This includes liaising with other shifts and departments.
- Monitor and manage attendance on your shift using the sickness/absence policy and procedure including return to work forms.
- Monitor hygiene and housekeeping and ensure hygiene schedules are completed.
- Support the maintenance of relevant Works Instructions, when necessary, as per guidance of our Training and Technical teams.
- Report all maintenance issues and ensure work is completed.
- Schedule and control production to meet deadline delivery dates and minimise waste and downtime.
- Operate within and support the Company culture relating to the management and development of all employees to maximize their individual contributions and utilisations of their skills.
- Plan and co-ordinate the staffing (including annual leave provisions) arrangements for your shift, this includes producing and monitoring shift sheets.
- Assess the skills needed for your shift, completing the Check Ins for all colleagues Ensure work instructions are adequate for the role by liaising with the Training Department for amendments or updates.
- Carry out all other reasonable duties to meet the needs of the business as requested by the Shift Manager and the Operations Manager.
