Our client based in Shiremoor is looking to recruit an HR Advisor to work within the Human Resources Department. This position is a temporary contract until 22nd December 2017.

We are looking for someone with experience in an HR Department supporting a high-caseload function. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle a high pressure, fast-paced environment. Working as part of a successful and well establish HR team, you would be responsible for supporting the general HR function across the business, taking on lower level HR Advisory cases.as

In return, you would receive an hourly salary of between £12.26-£13.01 depending on experience.

Taking responsibility for supporting all HR related tasks, duties will include:
- Involvement in HR strategy
- Providing advice and guidance to all members of staff up to Senior Manager level
- HR projects
- Handling HR queries, fact-finding and escalating as appropriate
- Reporting to the HR Business Partner on HR matters
- Ensure all HR administration is up to date
- Other ad hoc administration as required

The successful HR Advisor will have the following background:
- A degree in HR or similar qualification
- Experience working in an HR department as an Advisor or high level Assistant
- Confident taking on low-level cases as a sole responsibility
- Fully competent using Excel and Word and producing reports
- Ability to drive with access to your own transport is desirable
- A confident, friendly manner with excellent people skills
- Experience working with Trade Unions would be desirable
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
