Due to significant growth, we are now looking for an Apprenticeship Tutor with experience of delivering Heavy Vehicle Apprenticeships.

Summary of duties and responsibilities for the Apprenticeship Trainer -Heavy Vehicle:
" You will be responsible for teaching and assessing learners who are engaged on Heavy Vehicle Engineering and Maintenance apprenticeships
" The teaching and delivery will be in a Workshop/Classroom setting based in Manchester
" Motivate and drive learners to achieve their qualifications on time.
" Support the learner to complete level 2 Maths and English functional skills where required
" Engage the learner's line manager, making clear their responsibilities and working collaboratively to provide support, guidance and opportunities for learning
" Ensure all Health and Safety, Safeguarding procedures are adhered to
" Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development
" Work closely with IQA's on best practice, development needs and providing sampling, monitoring as detailed in the IQA plan.
Skills and experience required for the Apprenticeship Trainer/Coach- Heavy Vehicle Maintenance:
" Hold a recognised Teaching Qualification e.g. PTLLS, Award in Education and Training
" Hold previous experience working as a Technician with Heavy Vehicles, Buses or Coaches
" Prior experience in an Tutor Assessor role, delivering work-based apprenticeship qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
" Experience of classroom delivery to include online such as Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom
