Night Order Picker

Location: Halesowen

Pay Rate: £17.30 per hour

Hours: Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

 

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Night Order Picker to join a busy distribution warehouse based in Halesowen. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position with a successful distribution business, offering consistent night shifts and the opportunity to gain a permanent contract.

 

The Role:

• Accurately picking customer orders using picking lists and handheld scanners.
  
  
• Handling a wide range of products including general merchandise, chilled meat products and alcoholic beverages.
  
  
• Working within both the warehouse and cold store environment.
  
  
• Preparing orders for dispatch while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  
  
• Replenishing stock and maintaining organised picking locations.
  
  
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
  
  
• Working efficiently to meet productivity and accuracy targets.
  
  

 

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous order picking experience within a wholesale or distribution warehouse is essential.
  
  
• Experience working in fast-paced distribution environments.
  
  
• Comfortable working in both ambient warehouse and chilled cold store conditions.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to pick orders accurately.
  
  
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work to deadlines.
  
  
• Able to commit to the permanent night shift of 10:00pm to 6:00am, Sunday to Thursday.
