Delivery Planning Administrator (Temporary – 3 Months)Location: Brinsworth
Contract: Temporary (3 Months)
Hours: 33 hours per week (flexible working hours available)
Pay: £24.43 per hour

We're looking for a proactive and organised Delivery Planning Administrator to join our Delivery Planning Centre (DPC) on a 3-month temporary contract. This is a varied administration role supporting our planning teams and helping ensure customer deliveries are managed efficiently.

What you'll be doing
  • Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining accurate customer records.

    • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure new customer deliveries are planned on time.

    • Managing customer closures, transfers and changes to delivery requirements.

    • Supporting delivery planning teams with administration and system updates.

    • Processing trip confirmations and resolving billing or delivery queries.

    • Recording, monitoring and following up on service incidents.

    • Producing reports for internal teams and sales colleagues.

    • Maintaining customer information across internal systems.

    • Supporting telemetry administration, including commissioning and maintaining monitoring devices.

    • Providing general administrative support to the Delivery Planning Centre.

    • Using your initiative to identify issues within the team or processes and proactively help resolve them.

What we're looking for
  • Previous administration experience, ideally within logistics, transport or a supply chain environment.

    • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

    • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.

    • A proactive approach with the confidence to identify problems and suggest practical solutions.

    • Someone who can work independently while supporting the wider team.

Desirable
  • Experience using SAP or similar business systems.

    • Experience producing reports and analysing data.

    • Knowledge of logistics or transport planning processes.
