Development Officer

Pertemps Scotland Ltd are working with our client in Edinburgh to recruit for a Development Officer on a contract basis until June 2023 with potential of extension.

Daily Rate: £200 - £300

Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional learning opportunities and resources.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of regional and national professional learning events.
• Provide support for Creative Learning Steering Group and National Creative Learning Network meetings.
• Support the design, planning and delivery of funded projects in collaboration with a range of stakeholders and partners.
• Gather and analyse data evidencing impact and provide collated material for reporting purposes.
• Manage communications and promote key messages and resources via social media and the Creativity Portal.
• Manage procurement processes to secure professional services to support team objectives.
• Assess grant applications and participate in moderation panels as required.
• Work with practitioners, networks and partners to gather examples of practice.

Essential Skills:

• Well-developed creative, communication and interpersonal skills. With the ability to problem solve, innovate and generate informative and engaging communications.
• A proven track record of developing constructive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, preferably within creative learning environments.
• Demonstrable planning and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities such as regional and national tasks.
• Well-developed analytical skills, being able to demonstrate impact by drawing on a range of evidence including learner voice, event feedback, and written reports.
