ATM Test Technician

Job Title: ATM Test Technician (Entry-Level)
Location: Dundee – Fully office based
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
Duration: Week to week basis
Working hours: Full-time – approx. 40 hours per week
Overtime may be required based on workload


We are recruiting on behalf of a third-party client for ATM Test Technician to support low-level testing activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking hands-on experience in a structured, technical setting.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform low-level functional testing on ATMs and related components
• Perform multiple test cycles on the same components/functions to verify consistency and reliability
• Follow structured testing procedures in a fast-paced, production-style environment
• Maintain focus and accuracy while completing routine and repetitive tasks
• Identify and report faults, errors, or inconsistencies during testing
• Accurately record test results using internal systems or spreadsheets
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace in line with operational standards
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Skills & Experience Required:

• Basic mechanical or technical aptitude (no advanced engineering experience required)
• Comfortable following step-by-step instructions and repetitive processes
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in recording information
• Basic IT skills (e.g. data entry, Microsoft Excel)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, or warehouse environments is advantageous but not essential
