Salary: £33,000–£36,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
Full-Time Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, plus alternate Saturdays, 8:00am–12:00pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a third-party client for a motivated and customer-focused Yard Sales Supervisor to join their team. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor who enjoys leading a team, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient running of a busy yard operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Yard Assistants.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the yard, ensuring operations are safe and efficient.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Process customer orders and load and unload vehicles.
• Receive supplier deliveries and ensure stock is accurately booked into the warehouse.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and organisation.
• Support the team in achieving branch sales and service targets.

About You

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A friendly, approachable and proactive attitude.
• The ability to motivate a team and encourage a collaborative working environment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a physically active role, including lifting heavy building materials.
• Adaptable and confident working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
