Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Plymouth
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a very well-established and reputable regional contractor on a permanent basis within a team of experienced commercial individuals. This company offer an array of projects including refurbishments, commercial new build, renovations and extensions within Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Public Sector.

This position would suit someone who has recently qualified within Quantity Surveying, undertaking a Quantity Surveying course or someone who has experience of on the job training.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the commercial team with procurement, invoicing and payment to minimise costs & maximise value
• Support with measuring and preparing cost estimates for contracts and tenders
• Build relationships with several specialist subcontract and supplier contacts
• Make applications for payment on time and in a format agreed with the client
• Ensure submitted invoices are paid on time

Requirements:

• GCSE’s including Maths and English
• Quantity Surveying degree desirable
• Relevant driving licence
