Job Description

Facilities Team Leader
South Littleton

A well respected construction and facilities services provider currently engaged on a long term framework with the Prison service is seeking to expand thier team with the addition of a Facilities Team Leader to work on a Ministry of Justice scheme in the heart of Worcestershire.

They are actively working on 60 secure premises throughout England and Wales and are motivated to maintain and deliver safe, clean and efficient facilities and this team plays an important part in ensuring that planned and reactive maintenance works are executed in a safe, compliant and timely manner.

As a Facilities Team Leader, you will be responsible for a range of duties including ensuring the health, safety and security of staff, contractors, premises, and equipment by encouraging and monitoring best practices at all times, assisting in and supervising the delivery of a range of facilities services to the prison in line with contractual commitments and communicating problems and concerns promptly through line management ensuring quick resolution.

The ethos is very much doing a great job, on time whilst meeting high quality standards - naturally, as the role will be working on site in a Prison, you'll need to ensure that all compliance and safety in the establishment is met, whilst building a strong relationship with the client.

The working pattern is 39 hours a week across a 7 day shift rota (15% uplift to salary provided).

We're keen to hear from you if you have:

Previous experience of working within the Facilities/Estate management arena to include some team management/client liaison, working on your own initiative and understanding deadlines and prioritising.

It's essential you have a good level of IT literacy, sound knowledge of H & S legislation, compliance and best practice, and ideally you'll have an IOSH or alternative Facilities management qualification.

In addition, it would be desirable if you have a calm attitude under pressure and experience in using Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems to help you hit the ground running, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required development you need to bring you up to speed.

Prison Security Clearance including CTC will be required - you will be supported through the process but it is essential for the role so if there is any reason you may not get clearance let us know.

What's on offer?
