An exciting opportunity has for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join one of the UK’s leading AJ100 architectural practices at Senior Associate level, based from either Bristol or South Hampshire offices.
With multiple studios throughout the UK, this is a large, award winning practice offering the scale, resources and project exposure of a national business whilst retaining strong regional teams. Working across an incredibly varied portfolio to include commercial, residential, education, healthcare, defence, blue light, industrial & logistics, leisure, mixed-use, masterplanning and more.
Following continued growth across their southern studios and with projects increasing in both scale and complexity, they are now looking to strengthen their technical leadership with a Senior Associate Architectural Technologist who can work collaboratively across the Bristol and South Hampshire teams.
This is a genuinely senior opportunity, combining strong hands-on technical knowledge with project oversight, team management and technical leadership. You’ll take responsibility for the successful technical delivery of projects, manage and support smaller teams and become a senior point of knowledge within the business, while collaborating with colleagues and expertise across the wider national practice.

The role will include:
- Leading the technical delivery of projects through the later RIBA stages
- Taking ownership of complex technical packages and construction information
- Managing and supporting small project teams
- Providing technical leadership, guidance and quality oversight
- Coordinating effectively with Architects, consultants, contractors and clients
- Ensuring projects meet UK Building Regulations and relevant technical standards
- Working collaboratively across the Bristol and South Hampshire teams
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced members of the team
- Building strong relationships internally and externally
- Working closely with senior leadership as the studios continue to grow
- Sharing knowledge and expertise across the wider national practice
- An experienced Architectural Technologist with significant UK experience
- Someone already operating at Associate level, or a strong Senior Technologist ready to make the next step
- Excellent technical knowledge and a thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations
- Strong experience across the technical and construction stages of projects
- Experience taking responsibility for the delivery of larger and more complex schemes
- Confidence managing projects and smaller teams
- Strong consultant and contractor coordination experience
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to operate as a senior technical figure
- Revit proficiency is essential
