RGB Recruitment is working with an established construction contractor to recruit a Site Manager to oversee structural and frame packages on a project in Exeter.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy project team, taking responsibility for the coordination and delivery of key construction packages through to completion.
The Role:
You will oversee day-to-day site operations relating to the structural works, ensuring subcontractors are effectively managed and works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate will join an established contractor on a substantial project, with the opportunity to take ownership of key packages within a wider delivery team.

The Role:
You will oversee day-to-day site operations relating to the structural works, ensuring subcontractors are effectively managed and works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing structural and frame work packages from start to completion.
- Coordinating subcontractors, labour and site activities.
- Monitoring progress against programme and addressing any delays or issues.
- Working closely with commercial, design and engineering teams.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety and quality control.
- Supporting cost management, valuations and variations.
- Leading site coordination and progress meetings.
- Overseeing inspections, snagging and defect resolution.
- Previous experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
- Experience overseeing structural, frame or shell and core packages.
- Strong subcontractor and workforce management skills.
- Good understanding of construction programmes, quality and health and safety.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to drive site progress.
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
