HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work on a regular, ongoing basis for our client DHL Nisa in Scunthorpe.

We can offer a choice of work depending on your preference, including store deliveries to Co-op and Nisa locations or trunking runs between distribution centres.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent, long-term work with regular shifts available each week.
 
What shifts are available?

• Friday to Monday every week
• Occasional Tuesday shifts available
• Store Deliveries: start times between 04:00 – 06:00
• Trunking: start times between 10:00 – 13:00

 
How much will I be paid?
Store Deliveries

• Monday to Friday: £18.10 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday: £20.36 per hour
• Overtime: £24.07 per hour

 
Trunking

• Monday to Friday: £16.48 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday: £18.54 per hour
• Overtime: £21.92 per hour

 
What will I be doing?
Depending on the work you choose, your duties may include:

• Delivering caged goods to Co-op and Nisa stores
• Completing trunking runs between distribution centres
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Completing relevant delivery documentation
• Following drivers' hours, Working Time Directive and company procedures
• Providing a professional service when dealing with stores and distribution sites

 
What do I need?

• Valid HGV Class 1 / Category C+E licence
• Licence held for at least 6 months
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 6 points on your driving licence
• No DR10, IN10 or CD10 endorsements
• Reliable and professional approach to work

• Scunthorpe, Gainsborough, Immingham, Barton-upon-Humber, Hull and surrounding areas.
