Location: Near Carlisle - Due to the factory location, your own transport is essential.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join our clients talented team. As a key member of their production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of their state-of-the-art machinery. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to read CAD drawings (training can be provided), and a passion for delivering high-quality results. This position will lead to a permanent contract after a probabtionary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machinery to ensure smooth production processes.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings to set up machines for accurate and precise manufacturing. Training can be provided.
• Transfer data from CAD drawings to the machines for efficient production.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills for fault finding.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
