HR Advisor (Temp to Perm) North West / North East Based £35,000 + Benefits + Mileage Expenses An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to support the Regional HRBP of this large, national facilities management company. This is a new role as they have secured a new contract and they need someone in post as soon as possible. The role is field based although their regional office is based in Manchester and the successful applicant will need to travel to Manchester regularly for meetings etc. Covering the client sites in the North West and North East, the role responsibilities include: - - Providing HR advice and support to Managers on HR related matters across various sites and businesses - Undertaking all necessary duties of the HR advisor including disciplinary and grievance, TUPE, absence and capability - Providing relevant guidance and advice on terms and conditions of employment and employment related policies, procedures and practices - Develop, monitor and review HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance whilst being fit for purpose - Manage, develop and review Terms & Conditions for all staff including total reward frameworks - Liaising with Trade Unions and staff representatives on employee relation matters including pay negotiations if applicable - Support various business units with bid and tendering work, working in conjunction with the cost modeller and other relevant stakeholders - To develop effective mobilisation plans (in conjunction with other Managers and HR colleagues) for TUPEs "in" and an effective strategy for any TUPEs "Out" - Attend and support the Senior Management Team in meetings as and when required - Other ad-hoc duties as and when required. The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre and a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. A strong knowledge of TUPE is required, as is a full UK Driving Licence and own transport. Previous experience in a generalist HR role along with experience of change management and a compliance driven environment.
