Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Pay: £13.11 per hour (Training Rate)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 6:00pm | Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Extrusion Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate extrusion machinery to manufacture a range of profiles, including bars, tubing and structural shapes.
  
  
• Select and install dies, mandrels, calibrators, extrusion heads and haul-offs to suit production requirements.
  
  
• Ensure hoppers are supplied with the correct raw materials throughout production.
  
  
• Complete all production and quality records accurately.
  
  
• Carry out dimensional and surface finish checks to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
  
  
• Remove finished products from the production line and pack them to the required standard.
  
  
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, including lubrication, to keep machinery operating efficiently.
  
  
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and housekeeping within the production area.
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
  
  
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  
  
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
  
  
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
