Looking for your chance to have an impact and be a part of the national response to the Covid 19 Pandemic ? We are now looking for Van Drivers to work Sunday each week, delivering Covid-19 test kits to residential properties.
- Roles start in March 2021 for 8 – 12 weeks
- Shifts will be 10am – 6pm or 11am – 7pm
- £13.91 per hour
- Depot locations are
- BS3 – Bedminster
- BS4 - Brislington
- BS6 - Montpelier
- BS16 - Fishponds
- BS34 - Patchway
About the job
- Collect items from the main distribution centre and load to van
- Perform appropriate vehicle checks prior to departure
- All units to be collected and delivered within scheduled times
- Be responsible for the vehicle and collected mail/content security
- Effective and secure delivery and handover of test kits
- All necessary PPE will be provided including masks and gloves
The right candidate
- Full UK Manual licence
- Less than 6 points penalty points - minor offences only (no DD,DR,IN endorsements)
- Happy to consent to a DBS check
- Excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable with completing a route on foot, as this may be a requirement from time to time
- Please be aware it is mandatory to wear a mask while working, in line with company policy
