Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting a Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver to work out of their client based in Stoke on Trent.
For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver role, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering and collecting skips across Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas
- Carrying out skip exchanges (removing full skips and replacing with empty ones)
- Operating a Class 2 skip wagon (skip loader / hook loader) safely and efficiently
- Navigating tight residential streets, building sites, and commercial premises
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service when dealing with customers on-site
- Returning skips to the yard for unloading and recycling
For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver role, you will need:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience driving skip wagons – Minimum 1 year experience
- Good communication and customer service skills
Working Hours & Pay of this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver role:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 17:00
- £14.50 per hour
- Ongoing work with the opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks
