Plater (Night Shift) - Temporary Ongoing


Location: Stafford

 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plater to join a well-established engineering firm based in Stafford on a temporary ongoing basis.

This role is ideally suited to candidates with a strong background in heavy steel fabrication, who can confidently interpret engineering drawings and work with minimal supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Marking out, assembling, and plating heavy steel components
  
  
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  
  
• Working to high quality and safety standards
  
  
• Operating independently and as part of a skilled fabrication team
  
   
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plater within a heavy engineering or fabrication environment
  
  
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  
  
• Reliable and self-motivated approach
  
   
  
  

Shift Pattern:

• Night Shift: 8:00pm - 6:00am
  
  
• 4 on, 3 off rotation
  
  
• Paid breaks included
