Device Support Technicain required to undertake a 12 month temporary assignment with a West Midlands local authority. Based in central Warwick you will be required to visit schools in a 30 mile radius to take ownership of incidents logged via the 1st Line Support team and :-
- Deal with day to day break-fix issues
- Configure Smartphones and Tablets to use with Google Mail
- Deliver/install desktops and laptops.
- Carry out routine monitoring, logging and reporting tasks, taking defined action where appropriate
- Provide advice and resolve IT issues where possible and escalate unresolved calls where necessary
- Liaise with 3rd parties companies.
- Assist users to make more effective use of desktop systems, products and services, making detailed diagnosis of problems and advise on known solutions where applicable
