We are recruiting a temporary Web Content officer for our client, a West Midlands Local Authority, to pro-actively develop and manage their various websites, Intranet and online services, which are visited and used over 350,000 times each month by residents, local businesses and staff members.
Duties will include:
To determine, design, develop and test user interfaces, content, websites and other online services required to deliver the best experience for customers and to achieve the goals of the business.
To advise and contribute to the development of the organisation’s strategies, standards, policies and guidance relating to online services and content
To promote best practice in relation to digital channels, customer service through delivery of online services, and online content design.
To develop and administrate the Jadu content management system (CMS) for the main site and mini-sites, and staff-content SharePoint CMS, used to store, manage and present online content
You will require:
Excellent knowledge of, and experience in delivering, UX design and online customer journey development
Knowledge and understanding of online accessibility standards and practices, and the importance of such
Understanding / design knowledge of the Internet, websites and online communication.
Strong written communication skills, with emphasis on developing content for online customer audiences.
This is a temporary role for approx 3 months based in Central Warwick. Pay Rate negotiable circa £25 to £30ph
