We are currently recruiting a Bid Coordinator for one of the largest Utility companies in the Midlands.

Bid Coordinator – Role Objective:

  • Support the business unit teams on bids, tenders and other business development submissions which will enable to meet and beat the business growth objectives
  • Own and drive the management of selected tenders and act as a focal bid coordinator for the teams
Bid Coordinator – Accountabilities:
  • Creation of an extensive library of documents which will be the primary source for all tenders, bids, and submissions
  • Ensure that documents are written, updated and maintained to remain current at all times
  • Support the drafting of project-specific documents required for submissions and capture in a central e-library
  • Coordinate responses to formal clarification questions raised by Customer procurement teams
  • The role holder will be required to engage with staff at all levels to ensure the “on time” delivery of submissions
  • A high degree of personal influence will be required to ensure that the highest standards are maintained at all times
  • Extensive interaction will be required with new and existing clients with written and verbal communications being to the highest standards

Bid Coordinator – Experience and Qualification:
  • Detailed knowledge of the procurement processes used by Customers to procure service contracts
  • First-hand experience of preparing Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), Bids, Tenders, etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work with technical and commercial business teams

Bid Coordinator –- Additional Information:
Location: Coventry, maybe travel required to Mansfield  
Rate: £15/hr
Duration: the role is to start as soon as possible until 31st March 2020
