Area Clerk for Aggregates / Operations

Permanent – Penmaenmawr, Abergele, Criggion and Ashton in Makerfield

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Area Clerk for Aggregates in the Operations Division on a Permanent contract based in the North West of England

The successful candidate will be required to work with the Area Management Team on aspects of clerical work. In particular, there will be a strong emphasis on the use of SAP and Microsoft Office

In addition, there will be a requirement to assist managers in the maintenance of our integrated management system. The role can be based at any of our client's sites with the geographic area to suit the location of the successful candidate

Area Clerk for Aggregates / Operations - Your day to day responsibilities will include the following:-

• Providing clerical support to the Area Operations Manager and other Managers as required

• Carrying out company procedures for invoices received, stock returns and other accounting requirements

• Ensure all relevant documentation and returns are completed accurately and promptly and entered on to the computer system

• Maintain control of all capital orders and track expenditure to ensure no overspend without the prior knowledge of the AOM

• Work with other personnel from other departments or offices to resolve any problems that may arise with respect to the administration of the area's sites

• Provide support on all company system s to the Area management team

• Any other clerical or administrative tasks as required

Area Clerk for Aggregates / Operations - The successful candidate will need to have following:-

• Strong IT Skills with Microsoft Office applications

• Proficient in the use of SAP

• Timeliness – ability to complete all required tasks to a high standard to the deadlines set and agreed

• Customer service – a friendly welcoming approach to all callers and visitors to the office

• Planning and Organising – ability to plan and organise own workload, assigning priorities as appropriate

• Initiative – ability to work under own initiative

• GCSE level maths and English

• Experience of working in a unit clerk or administrative or secretarial role

• Experience of providing first class customer service

• Experience of data analysis

• 40.00 hours per week
