We are currently recruiting a Planning Assistant / Administrator for one of the largest Utility companies in the West Midlands


Planning Assistant / Administrator - Role objective:

  • To work along side the other Planning Assistant, Planners and Dispatchers within the Central Non Infra Planning Team
  • Liaise directly with the Planning & Service Delivery Teams offering support with tasks using SAP

Planning Assistant / Administrator - Key accountabilities:
  • Reactively priorities work including quick and effective response time of all emergency/high priority work such as ordering chemicals and job specific pumps/equipment
  • Provide effective and efficient Planning Support to the Planning Team
  • Raising orders to ensure payment of invoices are dealt with on time
  • Ensure time admin such as 1:1s, training, medicals and team meetings are timed out in SAP & Click for the Operational Teams
  • Owning the site spares process, requesting quotes from suppliers & placing orders
  • Liaise with external companies and the Planning Team to ensure chemical orders are planned in for delivery effectively

Planning Assistant / Administrator - Experience:
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • An understanding of software systems SAP & Click desirable
  • Awareness of company Health & Safety policies and procedures

Planning Assistant / Administrator - Additional Information:
Location: Shelton, Shrewsbury
Pay rate: £10.04ph
Duration: Role to start as soon as possible until end of October 2019
