Job Description
Compliance and Onboarding Administrator
We are looking for an Administrator to join our Reading-based recruitment office to assist with us in processing successful candidates pre-employment checks.
This is a full time position, working Monday-Friday with hours between 9am-5.30pm.
The role is office base located at Manor Park business park Reading, with good public transport connect and on site staff parking.
The role and responsibilities:
As an Administrator you will assist in all elements of the on-boarding process, assisting candidates from offer stage, pre-employment screening and preparing for their training date.
Tasks involved in the pre-employment screening process, including, but not limited to,
- Sending offer emails
- Processing DBS and referencing applications and working in support with our screening partner
- Issuing new start packs and collating documents
- Booking medical appoints when required
- Updating the business when require with onboarding progress and escalating any concerns to the Hire Manager
- Booking candidates onto training dates and ensuring they are have completed all checks within the agreed deadline
- Supporting the onboarding telephone line and assisting candidates with their enquiries
- Supporting in managing the share onboarding mailbox.
What we need from you:
- We would strongly prefer candidates with a background in compliance/pre-employment screening, however we are open to candidates with great admin skills in other sectors.
- Attention to detail is key with this role.
- Good written and spoken communication skills necessary - you will need to liaise with other parts of the business regularly.
- Self motivated and confident.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Strong IT skills (inc. Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
