Job Description
Commercial Property Lawyer | NQ – 3 years’ PQE | Shropshire | Hybrid
An established and forward thinking law firm in Shropshire is looking to strengthen its Commercial Property offering with the addition of a Commercial Property Lawyer at NQ–3 PQE level. This is an excellent opportunity to join a developing department where you’ll gain hands on experience, close partner support, and genuine scope to progress.
Why this role?
You’ll be joining a firm with strong local roots and a modern outlook, working alongside an experienced Head of Department who is keen to mentor and develop junior lawyers. The department is growing steadily, offering real exposure to quality work rather than high volume case handling.
What you’ll be doing
• Handling a varied commercial property caseload from start to finish
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong ongoing relationships
• Working closely with senior colleagues on more complex matters
• Utilising paralegal support to manage workflow efficiently
• Taking on increased responsibility as the department continues to expand
Who they’re looking for
• Welcome applications from: Solicitors, Legal Executives, Licensed Conveyancers
• Experience managing commercial property matters with confidence
• Exposure to development work is advantageous (but not essential)
• Comfortable running files autonomously and dealing directly with clients
• Ambitious and keen to build a long term career within a supportive environment
The package
• Salary up to £50,000 DOE
• Bonus structure linked to billings above target
• Hybrid working, based out of the firm’s Telford office
• Collaborative culture with low staff turnover
• Clear progression prospects within a stable and growing team
How to Apply:
