Job Description
Employment Law Solicitor | 5+ PQE | Dorset | Hybrid Working | Up to £70,000 DOE
Why this role?
This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded regional firm with a strong Corporate & Commercial offering and a growing Employment practice. The firm is known for its inclusive culture, long term career focus, and genuine support for progression through to Partnership.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work as part of the Corporate & Commercial team, partnering closely with another specialist Employment Solicitor and advising a broad client base on both contentious and non contentious employment matters.
Your work will include:
• Employer advisory support (contracts, policies, handbooks)
• Employment disputes, including tribunal matters
• HR advisory work (grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies)
• Employment aspects of corporate transactions (TUPE & due diligence)
• Client facing training and advisory sessions
Who this suits
This role suits an Employment Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE who enjoys working closely with clients and collaborating with corporate colleagues. You’ll be confident running your own matters while contributing to the wider team. Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers would be welcomed but is not essential.
What’s on offer
• Hybrid working with flexibility
• Transparent progression pathway to Partnership
• Strong benefits package including:
o 33.5 days’ annual leave + birthday half day
o Bonus scheme
o Pension, life assurance & health cash plan
o Discounted legal fees & referral incentives
This is a long term career opportunity within a firm that invests in its people and offers genuine progression, not just a role.
