Job Description
Court of Protection Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive | Somerset | 2+ PQE | Competitive Salary (DOE)
A well-established Somerset firm is looking to recruit a Court of Protection Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its growing Private Client team, driven by a significant increase in new instructions. This is a great opportunity to work closely with experienced Partners in a supportive, client-focused environment.
The role will involve managing your own Court of Protection and attorneyship caseload, with scope to assist on wider private client matters such as wills, probate and LPAs depending on experience. You will have regular client contact, providing clear, compassionate advice while progressing matters efficiently with the support of an experienced team.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ PQE with solid Court of Protection experience and strong client care skills. A proactive, organised approach and confidence managing files independently are key.
In return, the firm offers high-quality training, a clear progression pathway and a strong work-life balance, alongside benefits including flexi-time, annual salary reviews and enhanced annual leave. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client professional seeking stability, development and meaningful work within a friendly firm.
