PROPERTY LITIGATION SOLICITOR, 3+ YEARS PQE, NEWCASTLE, TO C£80,000 + BENEFITS AND HYBRID WORKING – Successful, Legal 500 firm offering great opportunity for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to take on a key role in the team. JOB REF:3990
An established and growing regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Property Litigation Lawyer to strengthen its specialist disputes team.
This opportunity would suit a solicitor with strong contentious property experience who is looking to work on a broad mix of matters within a collaborative and commercially focused environment. The firm acts for a wide-ranging client base including businesses, developers, landowners, property professionals, and private clients.
About the Opportunity
Joining a busy and respected litigation team, you will take responsibility for your own caseload while working closely with senior colleagues and other departments across the firm. Alongside managing files, you will play an important role in developing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the practice.
The work is varied and may include:
• Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
• Lease renewals and related statutory claims
• Dilapidations matters
• Possession and forfeiture proceedings
• Rent recovery and service charge disputes
• Boundary and rights of way disagreements
• Easement and covenant disputes
• Agricultural and rural property issues
• Contractual and real estate-related disputes
What We’re Looking For
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
• Experience handling a range of contentious property matters
• Strong client management and communication skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
• Sound technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Confidence working both independently and as part of a wider team
• A proactive approach to networking and business development
• Good file management and compliance practices
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date legal knowledge and professional standards
• Experience advising commercial clients, developers, landlords, managing agents, or rural businesses would be advantageous.
