• You will advise charities, trustees and other not-for-profit organisations on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, providing commercially focused and pragmatic solutions.
• Your caseload will include establishing and registering charitable entities, advising on trustee duties, governance and regulatory compliance, charity mergers, transfers of assets, charity closures and de-registrations, as well as liaising with the Charity Commission.
• The appointed Solicitor will draft and review a variety of governance documents, policies and constitutional documentation, ensuring clients remain compliant with the relevant legal and regulatory framework.
• Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE and demonstrable experience advising charities on governance, administration and regulatory matters.
• The successful candidate will be encouraged to play an active role in business development, networking and helping to further strengthen the firm's well-established presence within the charity sector.
