Job Description
Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor (5+ PQE) | Birmingham | International Law Firm
If you're a non-contentious construction lawyer looking for work that is both high quality and genuinely varied, this opportunity should be on your radar.
A leading international law firm is looking to strengthen its Birmingham Construction team with the appointment of an experienced solicitor with around five years' PQE. The team is recognised for advising on some of the UK's most significant development and infrastructure projects, acting for an impressive client base that includes developers, funders, contractors, consultants, investors and major corporate occupiers.
The role will see you advising on the full spectrum of non-contentious construction matters, including the preparation and negotiation of building contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, guarantees and ancillary project documentation. Working closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Banking and Corporate, you'll play a key role in supporting complex, high-value transactions from inception through to completion.
The successful candidate will already have a solid grounding in non-contentious construction work, excellent drafting skills and the confidence to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Experience of standard form construction contracts, including JCT and NEC, will be expected, together with a commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading team where you'll have access to exceptional quality work without sacrificing genuine career development. The firm has built a reputation for investing in its people, offering first-class training, clear progression opportunities and a collaborative culture where individuals are encouraged to develop their own practice and profile.
In return, you'll enjoy a highly competitive salary, an outstanding benefits package, flexible and hybrid working, and the opportunity to work alongside recognised leaders in the construction sector on nationally and internationally significant projects.
If you're ready to take the next step in your construction career with a firm that combines global reach with a supportive and inclusive culture, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
