Senior Advocate – Fitness to Practise, Maternity Cover, 5+ Years’ Experience, London / Hybrid, £60,000 - £75,000 DOE. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Advocate to join a reputable regulatory organisation on a 12 month fixed term contract providing maternity cover. • Lead and support a team of in house Presenting Officers, coordinating assignments for external advocates and ensuring high-quality representation at statutory committee hearings.

• Take responsibility for the effective allocation and management of advocacy resources, maintaining consistently high standards across complex Fitness to Practise proceedings.

• Undertake direct advocacy in complex cases where required, with occasional appearances in the High Court, providing expert representation and strategic legal advice.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external advocates to ensure cases are prepared and presented to the highest professional standards.

• Applications are welcomed from qualified Barristers with a minimum of 5 years' experience and a strong background in professional regulation or a comparable regulatory environment.

• This is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover position, with hybrid working requiring 1-2 days in the London office each week and the remainder working remotely.
