Employment Solicitor (Partner), 6+ Years PQE, Leamington Spa, £125,000+ (DOE) – We’re looking for an ambitious Employment Partner to take the lead on our client’s employment offering in Leamington Spa and play a key role in the growth of this impressive regional office. REF:5118.

THE ROLE:
• You’ll have a varied and high-quality workload from the outset, advising businesses and individuals on complex employment issues and helping clients navigate some of their most sensitive people challenges.
• You will take ownership of the employment offering in Leamington and set its direction for the future.
• Build on an existing pipeline of work and develop a strong regional client base.
• Advise on a broad range of employment and HR matters, including complex and high-value issues and disputes.
• Work with organisations ranging from SMEs and entrepreneurial businesses through to PLCs and major national and international employers.
• Develop relationships across a broad range of sectors, including education, healthcare, manufacturing, aviation, recruitment, professional services and local government.
• Support senior executives, private individuals and other clients with sensitive and high-profile employment matters.
• Work alongside specialists across the firm to provide clients with a genuinely joined-up service.
• Identify opportunities for new work and contribute to the wider commercial development of the Leamington office.
• Lead, mentor and develop lawyers at different stages of their careers.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Employment Solicitors with a minimum of 6 Years PQE looking for that next step in their career.
• Significant experience in Employment Law, with a strong track record of advising employers.
• A respondent-focused background is preferred, although we’re also interested in candidates with a balanced claimant/respondent practice.
• Confidence handling complex, high-value and high-profile employment matters.
• Experience of developing client relationships and generating new opportunities.
• Strong commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
• Previous experience of managing, mentoring or developing lawyers.
• The credibility and confidence to work with senior stakeholders and represent the firm in the market.
• A collaborative and approachable leadership style.
• The ambition to build a successful regional practice while contributing to a national team.
