JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 5+
LOCATION: Leeds
SALARY: Up to £65,000 DOE
THE ROLE:
• Join a well established law firm located in Leeds seeking to welcome an experienced Employment Solicitor to their thriving employment department.
• Work alongside the Managing Director in developing the department whilst simultaneously handling a wealth of contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Advise employers and employees on issues such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, settlement agreements, employment tribunal proceedings, redundancy, contracts of employment, HR support and workplace policies.
• Manage a diverse array of matters from instruction through to completion with the support of a dedicated Paralegal.
THE CANDIDATE:
• Applications are welcomed from ambitious Solicitors who boast at least 5 years PQE coupled with experience managing a broad employment law caseload.
• The successful candidate will be confident advising both employer and employee clients and running matters independently from instruction through to completion.
• You will have excellent technical knowledge, strong client and communication skills and be keen to support the development of both junior colleagues and the firm as a whole.
• Building relationships with local businesses and HR companies is essential to this role and the successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth and success of the department.
