JOB TITLE: Commercial Litigation Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 5+
LOCATION: Greater Manchester
SALARY: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
THE ROLE:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a growing and specialist disputes team.
You will manage a varied caseload of commercial disputes, advising a broad range of clients on complex and often high value matters. The work will include disputes relating to areas such as insurance coverage, professional negligence and construction, providing excellent exposure to sophisticated commercial litigation.
The role will involve advising clients, drafting legal documents and correspondence, conducting legal research, managing cases through the litigation process and liaising with clients, Counsel and other third parties.
You will be expected to provide practical and commercially focused advice, helping clients navigate complex disputes while delivering a consistently high standard of service.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are invited from Commercial Litigation Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years' PQE and strong experience managing their own caseload of commercial disputes.
You will have experience dealing with complex and high value litigation and possess strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills are essential, together with the ability to provide clear and commercially focused advice.
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and confident managing a varied caseload with a high degree of autonomy. Experience in insurance, professional negligence or construction disputes would be particularly advantageous.
