Job Title: B3 Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Location: Shirley, Solihull
Pay Rate: £13.74 per hour
Hours: Fixed Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:30
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing

We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver with a valid and in-date B3 category license as a minimum. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of the team with a major equipment hire company, known widely across the UK, offering an immediate start for the right candidate.
Please be aware, only applicants with a valid and in date Counterbalance license, Category B3 will be considered for this position. B1 and B2 category will not be accepted


Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift truck (B3 Category minimum).
  
  
• Loading and unloading.
  
  
• Moving and allocating heavy stock around the site.
  
  
• Organising stock and maintaining safe storage areas.
  
  
• Following all health and safety procedures.
  
  
• Loading and unloading live loads, weighing up to 15 tons
  
  
• Manoeuvring the truck through narrow aisles and tight spaces
  
  
• General duties as and when required, stock taking, hygiene etc
  
  

Requirements:

 

• A valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift B3 Category only.
  
  
• Minimum 1 year counterbalance forklift experience (essential).
  
  
• Applicants must be confident and capable operating the forklift truck.
  
  
• Proven ability to handle and manoeuvre heavy stock.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  
  
• Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  
  
• Comfortable working in a busy environment.
