Mechanical Engineers

Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for Maintenance Engineer for medical device manufacturer based in Swindon. This is a permanent position.

Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 with 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Salary £45000-£50000 DOE

Main duties:

• Providing Electrical/Mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing & their processes while always adhering to GMP standards. 
• Support to achieve production output standards
• Maintain Production Machinery and spare parts
• Plan Preventative Maintenance(PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns
• Monitor machine performance
• Analyse & monitor breakdown frequencies
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and performance data
• Ensure safe systems of work are in place and adhered to

Requirements:

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical)
• Proven experience in electrical and mechanical systems, including fault finding and machinery repair.
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Self-motivated, proactive
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
• City & Guilds, NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance or Installation preferred but not essential.

Desirable:

• 18th Edition
• H&S Qualifications
• Experience in pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment
