 I’m currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an Employee Relations Advisor to join their team in Paisley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in employee relations who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and established HR environment. The role offers hybrid working and a salary of up to £35,000, alongside the opportunity to work closely with managers and employees across the organisation.

 The Role

As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will provide advice and support across a broad range of HR and employee relations matters, helping managers to deal with issues effectively, fairly and in line with company policies and employment legislation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of employee relations matters.

    • Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes.

    • Advising on absence management, performance and capability issues.

    • Supporting managers throughout employee relations cases from initial discussions through to resolution.

    • Providing guidance on company policies, procedures and employment legislation.

    • Building strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders.

    • Ensuring employee relations matters are managed consistently, professionally and confidentially.

    • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

    • Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives where required.

 About You

  • Experience managing a range of employee relations cases.

    • A good understanding of UK employment legislation.

    • Experience supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance processes.

    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

    • The confidence to provide advice and guidance to managers.

    • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • A professional, approachable and solutions-focused attitude.

    • The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider HR team.
