Location: Office-based (with nationwide travel)
Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a well-established and growing construction company.
This is a key position within the business, responsible for ensuring compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting operational teams across multiple sites nationwide.
The Role
As Health & Safety Manager, you will take ownership of all HSE activities across the business, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and industry best practice.
While the role is primarily office-based, you will be required to travel to sites across the UK to carry out inspections, audits, and provide on-site support.

- Develop, implement, and maintain health & safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports
- Deliver health & safety training and toolbox talks
- Support site teams in maintaining a safe working environment
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across the business
What We’re Looking For
- NEBOSH qualification (essential)
- Proven experience within a Health & Safety role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Willingness to travel to sites nationwide
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
