💰 Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 + up to £2,000 annual commission

We are looking for a proactive and commercially aware Planning & Compliance Consultant to support our National Distribution contract. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role where you will manage workforce planning, ensure compliance standards are met, and deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates.
You will act as a key point of contact, building strong relationships while ensuring operational excellence across recruitment delivery, compliance, and workforce planning activities.

You will act as a key point of contact, building strong relationships while ensuring operational excellence across recruitment delivery, compliance, and workforce planning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Performance
- Meet and exceed financial, SLA, and KPI targets through high-quality service delivery
- Identify new opportunities to maximise revenue and improve service outcomes
- Deliver continuous improvement across recruitment and workforce planning processes
- Resource client weekly labour requirements based on forecasts
- Monitor availability versus demand and proactively address potential gaps
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure fulfilment of client needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, candidates, and colleagues
- Act as the first point of contact for workforce queries including pay, hours, and compliance
- Support retention by maintaining engagement throughout assignments
- Conduct regular service reviews to measure satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure all processes meet legal, ethical, and internal compliance standards
- Maintain accurate records using systems such as ATS, VMS, and payroll platforms
- Support driver compliance checks, audits, and post-incident processes
- Produce reports, analyse data trends, and provide insights to management
- Support weekly payroll processes and ensure accuracy of submitted hours
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies promptly
Experience & Skills
- Experience in recruitment, workforce planning, or compliance (training provided if required)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Commercial awareness with negotiation and problem-solving capability
- Good understanding of recruitment processes and employment legislation
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Results-driven with a proactive mindset
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
