Job Description
Pertemps are recruiting for a Classroom Assistant to work within a school’s Home Economics department, on a temporary basis.
Role – Classroom / Kitchen Assistant
Location – Barnton area of Edinburgh
Hours – Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week (4 hours daily during school hours)
Pay rate - £13.66 per hour
Start date – asap
Duration – until 18th December 2026
The successful candidate will be:
This role will require a PVG for children at a cost of £59 (or £18 for an update).

- Creating shopping lists
- Loading the dishwasher and washing machine
- General tidy up of the classroom
- Keeping food prep areas clean and organised
- Stocking the cupboards and fridges
- Any other tasks as required
