Ipswich - Suffolk
I am delighted to be working with a small and well established Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) located in Ipswich who is in need of a Teacher for Key Stage 2 (KS2) for the new academic year.
We are looking for candidates with excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to deal with very challenging behaviour.
This fantastic PRU is seeking an experienced Teacher. The school caters for pupils aged 8-16 that have Special Educational Needs.
This is a long term role which will be made permanent for the right post holder.
This inspirational school is registered for Key Stage 2-4 for pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs - previously known as Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD), Special Educational Needs (SEN.)
The pupils here are dual registered and return to mainstream education after two terms, the success rate of the school is very high.
The primary activity of the school is the provision of specialist education services to young people with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs - previously known as Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD.)
They work with the most disaffected, challenging pupils that have often been excluded from school.
The school offers positive outcomes to young people of school age who have disengaged, or are at the point of disengaging with education.
Despite these challenges, the school supports their pupils in achieving a wide range of accredited outcomes in examinations and other courses.
If you have experience and a passion for teaching young people with SEMH needs, please do get in touch with Kat Lyons you can call on 01245 392580 or email email@example.com
