We are currently seeking dedicated Warehouse Operatives to support a busy, fast‑paced site in Robertsbridge. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large and well‑established organisation that relies on a flexible team to cover holiday, sickness, and increased demand throughout the year. As a Warehouse Operative, you will work on a rotating shift pattern, including both days and nights, so adaptability is essential.

Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ensuring goods are handled, stored, and secured correct
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards
- Following all site safety rules and operational procedures
- Operating the weighbridge system and accurately recording vehicle weight
- Overseeing site access from the gatehouse, checking vehicles in and out
- Supporting site security processes and maintaining accurate logs
- Assisting drivers and visitors with site entry requirements
To be successful in the Warehouse Operative role, you should have:
- Experience in warehousing, distribution, weighbridge, or loading bay work (desirable but not essential)
- Good physical fitness and comfort with manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits
- Confident communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts
- Your own transport due to the remote location
