PHP Developer
Permanent - part Remote
Cheltenham
Up to £40,000

Pertemps are working exclusively with an exciting start-up in Cheltenham who are keen to add in a PHP Developer to the team.

You will be joining a small but successful firm who have infiltrated its market and have won some exciting contracts.

This role will evolve around the developer with the plans to build a development team underneath them as the company continues to grow.

With this being the first hire in the PHP team, you (the developer) chose the framework which best suits you and this company will run with it (providing you can validate it!) - full set up will be supported. So we are open to seeing CVs with experience across various frameworks e.g. Laravel / Symfony / CakePHP / CodeIgniter etc.

There will also be a huge amount of flexibility in the role with this being part remote. Ideally we are looking at 2/3 days remote and 2/3 days based at site. We are looking for locally based candidates to Cheltenham, due to the necessity to be at site at times.

This company offer a number of services with training solutions within cyber security being its speciality.

This will be a backend role, we need candidates that can write code using Python3, Perl, Bash. Experience of working with Linux based web servers will be required.

Knowledge of Cyber Security is advantageous with adaptability being the most vital skillset.

Experience would be beneficial with this role suiting a mid to senior developer due to the plans for expansion and this leading in to a lead position - if you are junior or graduate level then we still want to hear from you and there may be the option to grow in to this position for someone with potential.

This is a very exciting time to be joining a growing company in the early stages of its successes. The project on offer is tailored to someone that has the potential, right characteristics and desire to improve processes.

One thing for sure is that the successful candidate will be joining a forward thinking team, which is led by an exciting collective of Directors focused on providing excellent working conditions whilst also having a great time.

If this sounds like it could be the one for you, please get in contact, we are looking at September/October starts for the right person.
