CNC Machinist required in Stroud. Salary: £41,600 basic salary with overtime and salary progression available, Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Contract: Permanent Opportunity.

Key Duties
- Operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision-engineered components.
- Setting and operating lathes, milling machines and sliding head machines.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Conducting basic machine checks and ensuring equipment is maintained correctly.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets.
- Undertaking training to develop additional skills and responsibilities.
- Previous CNC machining or machine operating experience would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of CNC machines, lathes, milling machines or sliding head machinery.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable and hardworking approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to support shift work during busy periods.
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30.
- Friday: 07:30 - 12:30.
- 40 hours per week.
- Overtime available and paid at 1.5x hourly rate.
- During busy periods, there may be opportunities to work a late shift from 14:00 - 00:00, paid at 1⅓ times the standard hourly rate.
- Starting salary of £20.00 per hour.
- Salary progression through training, development and length of service.
